Platform Privacy Policy
Effective October 19, 2026
This notice supplements the AZ Accounting Services LLC Privacy Policy with details about the firm's internal reporting and automation platform. The firm's existing policy continues to describe its broader website and accounting services.
Scope
The AZ Accounting Platform is an internal application for personnel specifically authorized by AZ Accounting Services LLC. Clients and the public cannot register for access. This notice is public for transparency; client records and reports require authorized staff access. The platform connects to Microsoft for staff identity and to QuickBooks Online companies that an authorized person has expressly connected.
Information we handle
- Staff identity information, such as name, business email address, Microsoft tenant and user identifiers, and authorization status.
- Client and QuickBooks company identifiers, connection status, and encrypted authorization credentials.
- Accounting and transaction information retrieved from an authorized QuickBooks company to generate requested reports.
- Report parameters, run status and history, generated files, audit events, and limited technical diagnostics.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate and authorize staff, maintain client connections, generate and securely deliver accounting reports, preserve operational history, investigate failures, protect the platform, and meet professional or legal obligations. The platform does not sell personal or accounting information or use it for advertising.
QuickBooks and Microsoft access
When enabled and authorized, QuickBooks access is used to retrieve accounting information for approved reporting workflows. The platform does not initiate payments, access payroll, or write accounting changes back to QuickBooks. AZ Accounting Services LLC processes this information for its own accounting services, not on Intuit's behalf. Microsoft sign-in establishes identity; a separate AZ Accounting access policy determines access through individual approval or configured firm membership requirements. Explicitly revoked application access remains blocked. An administrator may disconnect a QuickBooks company or revoke a staff member's application access.
Sharing and service providers
Information may be processed by authorized staff or contractors and service providers used to operate the platform, including Microsoft for identity, Intuit for QuickBooks connections, and Railway for application hosting, databases, queues, and private file storage. Access is limited to operating, securing, supporting, or complying with legal requirements for the service. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect the firm, its clients, or others.
Security and retention
The platform uses individual authentication, application authorization, encrypted QuickBooks credentials, private output storage, access-controlled downloads, and audit records. Information is retained only as needed for the firm's accounting services, contractual and legal obligations, security, recovery, and approved operational policies. No online system can guarantee absolute security.
Questions and requests
Questions or requests to access, correct, or delete information handled through the platform, subject to applicable retention obligations, may be sent to support@azaccountingservice.com or mailed to AZ Accounting Services LLC, 3701 W Algonquin Road, Suite 310, Rolling Meadows, Illinois 60008, United States.
Changes
We may update this policy as the platform, service providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
